Experience the amazing gazing into the sky to marvel at the constellations of the deserts of Riyadh. Experience / Highlights of the tour are:
Sandstone Hills – exploring a trail that offers glimpses of the past when people used to rely on groundwater and build fences with rocks to protect their livestock. Chance to meet and speak with Bedouin camel herders. (Depending on the season) Enjoy dinner around a bonfire. Opportunity to hear some of the Saudi stories. Historical insights about the region and traditions of tribal society. Enjoy Gazing into the sky to marvel at the constellations.

After approximately one hour’s drive from Riyadh, we arrive at an area with sandstone hills where we start our hike, exploring a trail that offers glimpses of the past when people used to rely on groundwater and build fences with rocks to protect their livestock. Depending on the season we may meet and have the chance to speak to some Bedouin camel herders. Before sunset, we enjoy dinner around a bonfire, which offers an opportunity to hear some Saudi stories before we start gazing into the sky to marvel at the constellations. We provide historical insights about the region and traditions of tribal society before we return to Riyadh.

• The tour starts at 16:00Hrs, but pick up is 30-60 minutes before.
• This activity ends back at the meeting point.
• This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.
